The officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence intercepted courier consignments at the Courier Terminal in Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai, which contained the contraband.
By Divyesh Singh: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Mumbai, seized a consignment of hydroponic weed worth Rs 39.5 crores and arrested two Indian nationals for operating a drug cartel.
The officers of DRI, Mumbai zonal unit, gathered recordsdata and intercepted two US-origin courier consignments at the Courier Terminal in Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai.
The consignments were declared as ‘outside concrete firepit’ and were destined for Bhiwandi in Maharashtra. Around 86.5kg of excessive-quality hydroponic weed were hid in the two consignments.
An investigation used to be performed and the DRI officers conducted searches at the holiday space addresses talked about in the consignments.
