Nancy Pelosi says she is traumatized by hammer attack on her husband Paul

Home of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi has said she and her family are “heartbroken and traumatized” by the violent attack on her husband Paul.

Pelosi added that she is grateful for the speedy response of legislation enforcement and neatly being workers, and leaning on her Christian religion in a bright time.

Paul Pelosi, 82, became once hit with a hammer by a male intruder at the married couple’s San Francisco home on Friday. He suffered a fractured cranium and accidents to his moral arm and hands, and stays in hospital.

The suspect, David DePape, 42, demanded to hunt for Nancy Pelosi when he entered the home, her assertion says. She became once in Washington, D.C., at the time of the attack and has since flown help to hunt for her husband.

Protection and security of U.S. lawmakers has come beneath scrutiny with the attack, which comes within the lead-as much as the Nov. 8 midterm elections.

Nancy Pelosi’s stout assertion reads:

“Sadly a violent man broke into our family home the day past morning, demanded to confront me and brutally attacked my husband Paul. Our young of us, our grandchildren and I are heartbroken and traumatized by the life threatening attack on our Pop. We are grateful for the speedy response of legislation enforcement and emergency services and for the life-saving medical care he is receiving.

“Please know that your prayers and heat wants are a consolation to our family and helping Paul fabricate progress along with his restoration. His situation continues to enhance.

“We are also comforted by these phrases from the E book of Isaiah: “Form no longer dread, for I am with you. Form no longer be dismayed, for I am your God. I could toughen you and permit you to. I could uphold you with my righteous moral hand.”

“We thank you for your prayers and heat wants as neatly as the work you attain to toughen our Democracy.”
